Hi people just joined this site looks a lot of fun ive got a Dakar 4.2 efi arb locker twin optima batteries winch on the front (rear one soon) full stainless sports exhaust DVD head unit inc rear camera on board air set up

Way to go Jon! Another Dakar in the Club!! I like your steering protector, is that stickers of the website? Looks cut out. I think I will be having on on my birthday list Black and yellow always works well, can we have a side on pic? I see you have all the latest Dakar 4x4 goodies but how long have you had it on the road? Lastly, im loving the crocodile!! More pics please.

hi they are stickers on the steering guard (looking at getting a plasma cutter on the letters when I'm brave enough) bumbles (as the wife calls it) been on the road since May 2004 side view from abingdon 4x4 what my Dakar's used for ;D qt caster corrected arms +2" suspension 30mm body lift 150psi on-board a system for tyres etc ( and a small horn) stay chilled Jon p.s its a Hippo

hi jon,, your dakar looks great bud,, you should join us on some of the other type of shows(cruises) the reaction from the public is awsome,, i would be interested in the details of on board air,, i am a compressor engineer by trade so can get most stuff but what pump does one use??

Thanks for the welcome hi Jason the on-board air is a home made affair a sanden air con pump from a classic range rover oiler on the inlet side through a check valve manifold with a solenoid switch for the horn air tool outlet within engine bay pressure switch 110psi on /145psi off pressure guage Airline to the tank mounted in the rear extra pressure guage inboard next to speedo clocks rear tool outlet by spare wheel total cost £118.50 plus borrowed bits

Hi there. and wellcome to acc. like the look of your motor and love the one with all the mud going up the sides. sorry i have not got on but i have got a pajero and i do alot of offroading with her. like thay all say need to meet up and have a play some time.

you will need to host the picture. Some people use www.photbucket.com or www.fotki.com are probably the 2 popular examples. Set up an account there and upload your pictures. then get the img code copy the lot on there. and the right click and paste it on. if need more help just let me no.
