This is my Wife Gill's Nissan 300ZX Fairlady Z Twin Turbo 3lt 24V Jap Import.. She was the 1st UK registered owner of it.. is on about 80,000miles... has been to Thor Racing and was Rolling Road tuned.. which is needed again as power has been greatly increase since last tune.. was test with a boost leak running 360bhp and 355f/lbs of torque.. has had loads of money thrown at it.. parts range from Tein Type Flex coilovers, Tein Pillow Ball Tension Roads, Tein EDFC, Apexi SAFC, Apexi AVCR, HKS LMT EDT Turbo Timer, Twin HKS SSQV Bovs, Custom in one downpipes and decats in s/s, Twin Trust 5.2" Exhausts, HIRO Bodykit, Custom leather interior, Custom Rerouted engine cooling system, HKS ALC autobox controller, HKS Boost Gauge, Custom Rear Brake light incorporated into the Spoiler, Custom Vents in front wings, Venon Rear LED Lights, Intercooler Hardpipes, Mocal 19 row oil cooler for Engine + inline thermostat, Mocal 16 row oil cooler for autobox + inline thermostat, Mines induction kit, 3piece split rims running 265/45/17 on the rear and 235/40/17 on the front, Momo Steering Wheel... loads of ICE.. and loads of other mods I have forgot for now.. the pics below are very out of date.. I didnt realise how long it has been since I took some pics of the LADY.. she has had yet another respray since .. no longer has HIRO down the sides.. and is sprayed in BMW Titanium Silver with graphite accents..

Below is a picture of Gill racing at Santa Pod.. this photo was used on the wallerpaper section of Pods site as an official download for the past few years.

Oh and the reason why there is a green painted targa top on in th epics was the bodyshop had broken the targa roof and we had borrowed a spare off a friend.. we have since bought a replacement and had it sprayed to match..

A Volvo 850 T5 2.3 Turbo 20V Estate - Manual(rare as an aussie with a small ego) have fitted performance bushes, baileys dump valve, Sard induction custom made to fit, we think it was an ex police car. Has as standard the same turbo as the Evo 1 and is about 230bhp and handles like a dream for a huge brick!!!
The "Lady" aka 300zx has as far as we know the only Hiro bodykit in UK.. also has had the EGR system removed.. and an extreme custom chip done when it was in Japan Osaka.. doesnt hit rev limiter till 8300rpm... the cooling system was cutsom rerouted to bypass the throttle bodies.. yes it has near enough 2 of everything.. makes a costly do to keep it on the road, but DAM WORTH IT!!! One of the nice touches we did was to get the Tein EDFC when we got the rest of the suspension from USA.. it allows us to control the front and rear dampeners .. up to 32 settings from soft to firm at the push of a button.. when Tein Coilovers were fitted we were told it could go another 60mm lower if we wanted...

extremely firm ride.. not to everyones liking.. but the acceleration gives such a HUGE grin factor

Also ICE wise is a 4000W sub.. 3 amps... 2 sets of components... and a pair of 6x4's.. power cap as well.. but I need to make a new install for it and fix the boot leak cause by a bodyshop who took 16 weeks to do a respray.. but I wont go into that..
Hehehe also recently bought a 200CC Go Kart.. have it stripped at the moment so I can rebuild the engine.. fix the chassis.. and respray everything.. then my wife can enter into some racing.. She is as bad if not worse than me when it comes to cars.. she has had track days at Silverstone, Donnington Park and Oultan Park in Caterham a few times, Honda Civic Type R (Latest model) Rally Eacort Mk2's and Formula 1st single seater and has been a regualr at Santa Pod over the past few years... is great to see the look on guys faces when they see a little woman in such a big powerful car and then to beat them

she is a speed junkie

Cheers for the kind comments... the Stable also has 2 other cars in it.. a 1984 Nissan Silvia ZX 1.8Turbo... is fully stripped.. suspension is extremely firm.. loads of custom made parts I got a guy in USA to do for me.. i.e. 3 point rear strut brace, 4 point strut brace or in engine bay, billet alloy gearbox mount and every other bush custom made.. I am doing her up for drifting.
Also got a 1974 mk3 Mini 1000, full body kit, fibreglass bonnet, uprated suspenion, lowered, 10" Wellers, Bought it for my Daughter for last xmas.. but she is still yet to apply for a provisional.. so at the moment it is sat in my unit stripped.. ready for full restoration!
Both of the above are not photo worthy at the moment.. and are on the list to be done after the Eagle V8 has had her bodywork done.

As soon as we get a decent day up here in the northwest I will take some upto date pics.. those above are sooooo dated.. interior looks different now with all the electronic controllers, air fuel, boost, dampener adjuster, turbo timer... also the body is different now... there is a Bomex vented headlight panel and new Fairlady badge, no HIRO on the doors.. and the graphite grey accent paint in the vents all around the car..
It is my wifes Baby.. think it is higher on the list than me.. she even got a Fairlady logo tattooed on her belly... got to sort out a boot leak that was caused by a bodyshop then I can get the ice back in.. 3 amps.. 4000w competition sub.. 2 sets of components and a pair of 6x3's... is VERY VERY LOUD...
Also has intellistart (remote start) which is great fun to play with at shows.. made one bloke run at Modified Nationals the other year.. he was looking in the engine bay.. I was down the stand in another m8's car.. hit the fob. engine fired up.. guy looked around and then legged it..

Even though it has 2x 5.2 exhausts and custom straight through from turbo back system... she is remarkably quiet.. more of a deep tone ...
Yes we are Very passionate about the "Lady" and she is another that we don't see a time when she isnt in the fleet.. but sadly she will not be racing for a while as the midshaft bearing has seen better days.. so as soon as we can get one sent out from USA and have my ramps wired in .. back to Pod!!!!!

Ohhh man.. the 300zx is sooo different since you last saw it Bex... I imported some competition component speaker from USA.. it now has 3 amps, 2 sets of components, 1 pair of 6x3 speakers, 4000w competition sub and power cap... sadly all is store at the moment due to a boot leak which I think I got to the bottom of over the weekend.. has a custom vented headlight panel.. paintwork is different.. no more piggyback spoiler.. the large spoiler we fitte dinto it a 25" led brake light I got also from USA .. now has 360 degree rear led bulbs.. more controllers inside.. and a LOT more power due to custom engine work and other upgrades.. those pics above soooo do not do the "LADY" justice.. Cheers for the possitive comments.. I finally yesterday took some fresh pics of the "Z"... didnt get any of the interior and all the controllers.. will do soon as I can be bothered ;D ;D
As you can see the HIRO is no longer on the doors.. has yet another respray... bomex vented headlight panel to increase air intake to help increase the air flow to cool the engine.. and the bonnet vents are to allow the air to escape and help cool the two turbos.. rear led lights are 6 pot venoms, rear 26" led brake light was imported from usa and custom sitted into the spoiler.. replacement targa roof painted to match unlike previous pics.. stone effect on bumpers flattened.. the vents have a graphite grey accent paint to give a feel of more depth to the vents..
Next work on the Lady is to replace the midshaft bearing.. is not too clever.. then back on the rolling road to setup the fueling side of things due to the performnance engine mods since last mapping at Thor Racing

This reflector was on the Z when it came out from Osaka, Japan.. not got a clue what it say on it..so if anyone speaks/reads Japanese please feel free to translate.. when it was in Japan is was meant to have been a team race car.. arrived in UK covered with graphics..
