wel the answer is NO LAG! u hate turbo cars 4 dat i like the instant power of N/A and im not goning to be puting a N/A cosy in it any time soon engines are going for silly money so unless a car happens to crash into my house and i do the guy a deal for the damages pinto it will have to be

lol, yeah the YB aint cheap, still if i was gonna spend over 5 grand on it i'd keep the turbo, have the 500bhp and put up with the lag, i have a few mates with cossie escorts, me mates 430bhp one will do nearly 170mph and its not the most powerfull of them. Look out for a yellow one with a black bonnet and spotlights in kent, his favourite hobby is waiting for the big mercs and beemers to hit their 155mph limiters and then flashing at em to get out the way. yep fitted a oil pressure guage to it the other day and it reads good, i did think it mite be that but its unfortunatly not  |

Have you got clogged channels to the head? They run less pressure than a gage from the crank. You might have to take your head of but you can leave your wig on. ;D

lol dont i always! wel theres been some development, as 4 the channels i cleared them out twice wen ive taken the head off, but im anouncing that im giving up!
ive spent hundreds of pounds on that crapy engine on rockers oil gaskets and petrol only to be rewarded with rubish performance a list of being late to everything ive been to late nites and permenant hand prints on the boot ware ive pushed it for more miles than its managed to drive its self!
please dont judge me but i have purchaced a quantum, its pink and a desel but it will polish up back to red and will replace my escort as my every day car, then (as ul be pleased to hear popuptoaster) the escort will get her cosy engine! but mybe not decided yet i mite just put the 1600GT crossflow out of me eagle into it for some of the winter depending how soon i cn find 1

THE ONLY TROUBLE FREE BIT  HEAD REPAIRED AND REPAINTED IF ONLY IT COD STAY THAT WAY  NO ITS NOT PINK ITS JUST THE LIGHT   EXPRIMENTAL SIDE EXITS   NOT AGAIN ITS BUGED ANOTHER SET OF ROCKERS!  BIN THAT!  ME MUM WASNT PLEASED I USED HER TEAK TABLE IN THE GARDEN!  AT DONNY! DID IT WORK? (WIERD NOISE IS THE RAD CAP TRYING TO ESCAPE)  NO!   YEA MATE ME CAR DOSE 20 ROCKERS TO THE GALLON! just to let u guys know, the mk2 escort is on the market, im doing sum stuff to it at the mo but its definatly up for sale, this car is my pride and joy but the impending supercharged engine transplant got me thinking and is a mk1 escort i want to do, so please let me know if u know of any up for grabs

im un shure realy, it will have mot and tax and up and running but its the body work that lets it down, noting structal mind, nothing stoping it geting an mot, just looking tired, i will sell it all done or leave it just needing the body work to do, oviousy that will hike the price up, its had alot done to it as u all wel know so looking 2200 minus body work and 3200 all done ish
