HI Folks looks like this site is fun,
ME; male 6ft3" tall, dark, blue eyes, 48yrs etc.
THE CAR ; 6ft8" tall dakar, dark blue paint, 20 yrs etc, like twins really.
Its a 3.9v8, 4 speed auto, hardtop, done 51,000 miles in it in 4.5yrs from the build, did Lands End to John o Groats October 2006, over 2000 miles round trip and probably an many pounds on fuel!, have a look at

Also won best modified Land Rover at Peterborough Land rover Fest last year. Big ambition at the moment is to drive the Dakar across France and Have a week driving around in Switzerland (they hate cars there!).
It was me that built the mini-dak, my wife Sylvia said that we did not have room for another car on the drive so a few weeks later she said OK you win!

I will be at the kent kit-car show on April 12/13th show see ya there.
