Dakar in next years Mac4x4

Hi All,
Entered my Dakar in next year's Mac 4x4 Challenge for the Macmillan Cancer Support.
The "Mac 4x4" is a "challenge" for 4x4 enthusiasts. It aims at testing navigational, orienteering and observation skills, with on and off road sections - depending on conditions, and endurance by day and night. A "team" consists of two people and it is strongly recommended that both are competent, licensed and insured to drive the vehicle during the event. It is intended to be a testing long weekend of fun covering between 400 and 1000 miles with various "tests" en route. Please sponsor me

hi, I have looked into the MAC 4x4 and would be interested in doing it in 2011, will you be making a record of he event and would you be willing to let me know how you get on what is involved etc what type of equipment my vehicle needs to be equipped with etc. cheers T

I have been accepted for the 2011 mac 4x4! wont be doing it in anything as exciting as a Dakar just a bog standard p38 at the moment.
