Rather a long time since I was on here and as I am now 'officialy retired' (but still having to work of course) and I have a bit of time (that the wife allows me) I thought I would bring the ACC up to date on my SS over here in Spain. (at least the weather isn't a problem). I changed the steering over to LHD as the vision is crap out of a SS at the best of times so being on the 'wrong side of the road' was darn dangerous. I also fitted 'Locost' hydraulic 3 cylinder pedals and a hydraulic throttle, new dash, head lining and interior trim, seats, note: unless you are under 5'6" and slim do not buy the sports seats on Ebay for the 7s and Westfields etc, they are VERY small. Engine has been completly rebuilt and customised with only the dizzy drive original. Other suff, like being married and other cars needing repairs and servicing keep getting in the way but progress is being made.

It has been a long time but I have made a lot of progress in the past 3 years despite all the usual problems including moving homes and relocating Ukhozi to a new garage 36Km away and the other three cars demanding more attention and money. All new interior and seats, Carbon fiber wrap on bonnet boot and mirrors,(so far) and all new electrics. Everything is finished in the mechanical department with the engine running, brakes and clutch hydraulics working and all the running gear sorted so it's all down to inside the cabin at the moment. So far; QD steering wheel, New steering wheel. Central wiring and component connection board New 6.95" 2DIN radio/dvd/BT Change to Astra GTE speedo. Above required an all new console. Made and fitted dual pulley system for throttle Converted throttle pedal to roller Custom made indicator/wiper stalks. Electric actuators on doors operated by remote. Full blue LED under lighting and red internal lights. New front side/indicator/fog light LED units Steering lock and light switch removed and electronic replacements on the board, (new cowl now needed) Automatic self starter and auto ignition switch on from single button.
