selling my Jeep as I got my eyes on somethin else.
Its cortina based with a standard 3.5 litre carbed rover V8, engine is healthy and I have a recent rolling road print out showing its making what it should, no smoke or leaks or rattles from the lump. Runs the standard rover rad (i think) with two big thermostatic eletric fans so good basis to take the engine out and use for something else (thats why I bought it originally)
Faults are both rear wheel cylinders leaking, rear axle bushes knackered, exhaust downpipe is blowing as its snapped and not welded all the way round the break, but the thing is pretty loud through the sidepipes anyway, the autobox has a slight leak from the pan gasket, the hood needs repairing or replacing as the windows are stuck in with gaffer tape at the mo.
Have to say though that when the sun is out its gotta be one of the best fun cars I have ever owned, it goes like a scalded cat up to about 80mph and sounds awsome while your doing it. It has tatty apliance wheels on it although the one I bothered to clean up has come up pretty nice.
Make me an offer near 400 quid, its worth that in parts easily.
