I've seen something similar on the back of my mates camper that I took to newark last year, that one had a big plastic box with a locking lid, cliped on to it. Was realy good, but I think its expensive with the box.

Hi- finally managed to get into the chat.. I am the guy who designs/makes/sells bak-raks - so I can answer most [all?] questions about them. They sell for £94 inc £15 P&P but quote this chat and I'll give you £10 off. We've tested them with 700Kg on - so you won't break it doing anything sensible. You can put a posh aluminium box on it - or use a B&Q £40 garden cushion box. We sell them for all sorts of things - from microlight planes to beehives - only limit is your imagination as they say!! As a PS I am a certified car nut having played with rally cars ever since university days. Buy loads of bak-raks and I can start running some fun cars again!! PPS I can send to Europe for the same price - but US and Canada is pricey for shipping. PPPS bak-rak.com is our web site.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for joining us.
I bought a bak-rak and can confirm they are brilliant. I have made myself a wooden platform for it, to make it a bit more versatile for smaller items like our club generator.
I thing its great, brillaint design and really handy to have and of course when im not using it, I just hand it up in the garage.
On mu Dakar I dont even realise its there!
My problem is that I strugle to remove it.
The best way I have found is to put a jack under it and jack it off, which is not ideal.
How do you suggest that they are removed?
Simon
