When I am Priminister rear fog-lights will be illegal.
I now have burnt retinas thanks to morons who don't have the common courtesy to turn their rear fog-lights OFF when I (or any other driver, for that matter) am following them.
They put themselves at risk as I am visually impaired due to the intensity of the light, and the fact that their break lights are disguised by the ferocity of the fog light.
Surely anyone with any brain at all can work out that if they can see the car in front then the car behind can see them WITHOUT THE NEED TO BLIND THE DRIVER WITH FOG-LIGHTS.
Simon's Law will be as follows
1. Any person found displaying fog-lights when it is not foggy should be immediately shot in the head - on the spot - no questions asked.
2. Just as you turn off your headlight main beam when a driver approaches from the opposite direction, you must turn off your rear fog-lights when there is a car following you (i.e. you can see headlights of the car behind in your mirrors. Anyone found not obeying this rule can expect the drive of the car behind to ram them off the road mucous gracious at their own discretion.
3. Anyone who has front fog-lights switched on when is not foggy, is to be taught, what is and isn't cool, by having their Y-fronts filled with ice cubes.
Here endeth my RANT!
If anyone has any opposing views then please feel free to exercise your right to free speech and air you views for me to politely and calmly inform you just how wrong you are! This will take place just before I poke your eyes out with a 21Watt bulb on the end of a very sharp stick!
