Well, it started as a quick fixer upper for a bit of fun (don't they all). 'Just an interior needed' the ad read, well you can't argue there! As I first saw it. Not too bad from this distance When I got it home I knew that the springs were bust and the paint was flaky and the engine (eventually started) was blowing oil and ....and....and it needed a new interior. several months later I started to work on it and strip it down The garage was turned into a spray booth and I was turned into a fat bloke in a suit with a very long catheter tube Bodywork started to take shape (I've never painted before!) Power from a 2.9 fuel injected Scorpio lump Loads of one off touches like frenched VW headlights, clear lens indicators in the grill, wings smoothed to lose the old side light mounts, driving lights over windscreen, power steering (not easy to get the parts these days, there weren't many Cortinas with power steering!) extra roll-over bars added over door area and I arrived at this, eventually Oh and the interior was upgraded a little too! ;D Other things to keep me entertained include a Ducati Monster and a V6 Alfa GT
