MY Fiesta RS Turbo

This is my fiesta rs turbo, its a 1990 model and is standard bar alloys, magnex full stainless system and a k+N induction kit

this is how it was when i picked it up



then fitted some clear indicators

then some smoked rear lights

and then some satin black bsa cobras


in the time i owned it mr AA man had a bit of an accident with my filler cap leaving it like this



and now its off road, and is going to be restored, and given a bit of a facelift.

bodywork is staying standard with a few little touches, enlarged front bumper cutout, delocked doors, colour coded mirrors, lights are going back to standard with the indicator portion of the rear light smoked.
Interior is staying standard bar the addition of some gauges harnesses, and all grey plastics changed for black ones.
The bulk of the work is going on majorly reworking the suspension and giving the engine reasonable power hike

i love those cars,, thge guy that designed them needs a medal,,
look after those front fog lights , they cost a fortune to replace and peeps nick them to stick in there replica bumpers,, fit perspex over the top with some security screws,, looks good if done well,

Cheers for the comments, I love the way the mk3 fiesta's look the last fiesta ford made that have character in my opinion.

Cant wait to get it back on the road, miss driving it loads, at least it will look better than when it rolled off the production line over 17 years ago

lovly car mate its on me list of fords i love to own, dont go to mad with the body styling as they look great standard and can look over done very easly, becides it will be a future classic soon and will be worth a packet! if u sell it ........remember me!

Yeah - lovely car. I haven't seen one of those for ages & ages! Agree with Spikester, it is one of those cars that is on the "I want to own" wish list.

I have a little 1989 XR2 which is kinda tatty, but its a lovely fun car to drive ;D
