Hi there, I have just spent an hour or so using the 3M cutting compound on my RV and here are some pics of the results. This is the patch on the wing that i tried the cream out on about a month ago, it is still nice and bright in spite of the horrible weather. This is a photo of the bonnet at the last offroad day, very faded. I hope this helps anyone that is thinking of polishing up their gelcoat, I have noticed that the areas that had two treatments have really sealed over its hard to explain but the gritty dry surface becomes almost glassy, and looks much harder. I will finish off the whole jeep with the Heavy duty compound and then order some of the finer compound and in a few months go over it again. Because this is an RV and I am going to use it for serious offroad, I think this level of finish will be fine. I accept that someone with a sporty type car will want a showroom type quality job, but I am very pleased with the results, I will keep waxing the jeep every time I wash it and can always buff it up again after the summer, if we get one this year. I will be ordering a new soft top in a wee while, I will probably go for the fabric looking one rather than the vinyl, I can always use the old one for offroad. Cheers PS hope you noticed the winch!! I am sure going to need it.

Interesting. Apparently the reason for red GRP going pink is because the cadmium that would keep it red has been removed for elfnsafety reasons. Is it okay if I use your pics in Kitcar magazine? Cheers, Iain
