Hi New here. Came in primarily because there seems to be a strong Dakar following. Building my Dakar at the moment.  But this is my other toy  Will try and make it along to Detling. Steve |

Yeah we have quite a few Dakar's on board 5/6 I think and a few in the making.
Ultima / Dakar you have covered all your bases there!!!
Now I am defiantly dropping in at your place for a go in the Ultima !!!
Dakar is coming on well, Its a nightmare with the tarpaulin thing! I hated that!
You are frustratingly close now.
Are you waiting on wheel arch extensions, doors, steps etc?
Those towing eyes are just what I need, where did you get them from?

I'm not stalking you but followed you from another forum after our various PMs RE Dakar.
When I spoke to Tori she was able to identify where some of the pile of bits she had were supposed to go too...me. Steve probably did not have an order book as such he just knew who the bits were for.
The recovery rings were cut and fashioned by hand from 10mm plate and no I'm not going to make you a set.

hi steve welcome aboard ,,, i love dakars under construction ,, they are fun to drive but i really did enjoy the build as it was so straightforward and everything just went into place ,, sometimes with a mallet but it all went where it should ,,see you at the shows
