Hi All

I am new to this site, put onto it by my mate Steve who's building a Dakar and has an Ultima.

Thought I'd post up my Project... its a scratch build mid engined GT car along similar lines to an Ultima I guess.

Seriously though, awesome project on the go there, the table I mean!!! I'm sure that it is safer than it looks!

Cheers, the table looks makshift but it is on tressles and the bits of wood were just to make it mm perfectly flat.

The project is a complete scratch build, both the body and the chasis are one off designs by me and even the suspension is custom made for my car but the geometry etc was designed by a professional based on a proven race car....
To give you taste the car will run a BMW V12 with Twin Turbos, using a modified Porsche GT3 cup racer gearbox along with the huge wheels gives it a theoretical 262mph at 7000rpm... plan is to compete it in things like the 'ten of the best' competions and do track days in it... but it will mainly be for me to cruise europe in so its 100% a road car.
