I am looking forward to the holiday myself, you wont believe how much organizing that goes on behind the scenes.
Health and Safety...Health and Safety...Health and Safety...Risk Assessments...Forms....Disclaimers....We even needed permission to "Penetrate the ground in any way"
That will explain why EOC didn't use any tent pegs on their marque ;D ;D ;D

i got the ground penetration permit organised and received it today,, we can now officially set up our club tent and anyone elses tent on our plot , all that paperwork just to push in a tent peg,,,, cant see why they suddenly require it since we been pushing pegs in that plot for years lol,, oh well , anything to stop the officials telling us to take our tents down,, it gets strickter every year

Important Information
Stoneleigh Park is covered by a network of underground services. Contact with these cables may cause serious injury to yourself and/or others, loss and/or damage. Therefore, you MUST complete this Application Form if you, or your contractor, are :- 1. Digging either by hand or mechanically and/or 2. Driving pins or posts into the ground and/or 3. Penetrating the ground in any way How to apply 1. Complete ‘Your Details’ below and return this form to:- Property Department, Stoneleigh Park Ltd, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ (or Fax to 024 7685 8229) Your Permit will be returned to you together with the relevant services plan where applicable 2. Forward a copy of your authorised Permit to your relevant Contractors (e.g. marquee erectors) 3. Contact British Telecom “Dial Before You Dig” on 0800 917 3993 in advance of the Event to arrange free BT cable scan 4. Contact Stoneleigh Park Electrical Services in advance on 024 76858 232 to arrange your FREE underground electric cable scan 5. Bring your own copy of the Permit to the Event. Remind your contractors to bring their copy too. Your free scans MUST be carried out before digging or penetrating the ground. Failure to abide by this process will result in suspension of works where detected. The costs of any injury, loss, damage or reinstatement will be charged to the company penetrating the ground. No liability is accepted by RASE. You are advised that this Permit does not ensure total safety. Oh goody, that means I can use the Biiiiiiiig tent pegs. I wonder how many I can get in the Ultima.
