just by chance wile trying to find 2 new fuel gauges for my vegey conversion (post to follow soon) i stumbled across this guy called mez who made his own and as i deal with LEDs alot in my work i decided to make me own gauges ironic thing is that he fitted it in his dakar!

i made a proto type gauge at home last nite but as i need two il post up the pics of the other one im making, if anyone likes the idear and wants to have one i can knock one up for you or just make the 52mm face plate like mine.
right hear is my design:-
1st the face plate
who wants to guss how many burns i got doing this bit of soldering?
with the LEDS in
fitting the lables
the pair
bit of a mess
final product lit up
as you can see the blue is when the tank is full then green then 2 sections of red (the lights go out as the fuel gets used up) and the red LED in the middle is off normaly but comes on flashing when the fuel is totaly out, as for the little white LED at the bottom tells me which fuel tank is being used - the conversion will be to come........
