Unit is big enough for about 7 cars.. spraybooth I built is not a bad size.. got a Silvia ZX 1.8T and a 1973 kitted Mini sat in there side by side at the moment Last week... phuff!! Was soooo gutting.. 10 mins after I got there.. recieved contract.. was temp not permanent as I was told.. was a LOT less per hour .. but the main prob was the seating was not suitable for me and after just one day was in a lot of pain.. so am now looking for a part time more suitable job.. really want to make a go of the unit business wise.. between past employment in a bodyshop (was more like a cowboy placend I learnt how things should never be done) and then my own projects for the past few years I know I can achieve a high level of satisfaction for customers.. and not give them all the b/s places around my way seem to be full off.. and the classic phase.. "It'll be ready tomoz".. we have the 300 in for a respray last year as I didnt have a booth.. 16 weeks it was away for and the quality is very very poor.. is why I spent a few thousand and built my own booth... no more paying someone to do what I believe I can do better and with my care to detail and finishing touches..

Yeah very inspiring is not something I have had a chance to play with yet.. have the airbrushes and a small airbrush compressor.. but as yet there is always something else to do.. I have mega respect for those with the talent.. and one day hope to be able to achieve a similar level of skill.. also would like to get into pin stripping.. I have found a company that does courses in air brush work and pin stripping and other painting special effects.. which I hope to do a few over the next 12 months.. I get soo much satisfaction from bodywork, fibreglassing and metal working.. so any part time work would be to fund my goal of becoming self employed in the not too distant future...

Whatta weekend.. Saturday I was at the unit until 11pm.. and last night I got in at 10:30pm.. clocked up about 18+ hours down there ... working on a mates Lancia and my Eagle.. Where does one start with what I have done to my Eagle.. well I have rounded off all the lines on the car.. i.e. the line on the top of the arches.. the lines on the doors.. the rear arches.. and so on.. then I built up the rear arch on drivers side with fibreglass and then a thin coat of Rage Gold filler.. same process for the front arch.. started to round off the lines on the rear end as well.. removed the mirrors so I could round off the lines on the doors.. I have not made the lines disapear altogether as I had 1st thought to do.. felt making it too round would be too much.. got to fit the rear bumper before I can fit the wide arches on the rear.. then will be time to make the sideskirts .. and then front bumper.. I will post some pics after.. shattered at the mo and can't be assed tp get them online Interesting thought that Eagle Convertable.. but personally I perfer the option of Targa Top.. i.e. removing doors in summer and making small side pieces to fit in place leaving the roof open That way the shell integrity would be maintained and I reccon a lot less rattles when driving.. also stop any shell sag as it ages.. with the roof being steel reinforced I mean..

all sounds good buddy i saw a clutch conversion the other day that gives more cylinder travel by having the cable between the cylinder rod and the pivot instead of having the cable at the end of the swinging arm,, dont know why i never thought of that,,, that should allow more bite and a better release, if you understand what i mean
