Yep certainly do... Bex is a star... I was surprised to see her on here known Bex for a few years now.. partied with her at USC.. watched her get covered in flour at USC playing parce the parcel.. hahahhaha Amys Mini is on hold until my Eagle is done.. and also is on hold until she gets a provisional license.. she is dam slack!!! Can't wait to get cracking on the 1974 Mini.. got plans to modify the bodykit (dont want Amy to have the same kit as someone else.. ) am thinking of stripping the 1000 engine and rebuilding it with a few performance tweeks.. was toying with dropping a 1275 gt engine in.. but think with it being a 1974 model it would be more fitting it kept the original engine.. also will make it cheaper on fuel for Amy.. and give her something to look forward to.. have said to her she can have a turbo engine dropped in for her 21st.. (she just turned 18) Back to the Eagle.. Exhaust have been cut off.. and work has begun on the rear end of the eagle.. am in the middle of working on the fibreglass rear bumper I bought.. am modifying it to fit at the moment.. then on with the design changes to it.. also have started working on a roof scoop anything to increase the air flow inside the Eagle the roof scoop should work well with the rear window about to be hinged so it can open outwards .. should help the air get dragged through the cockpit.. and add to the agressive look.. as soon as the rear bumper if fitted I can then fit the rear wide arches.. and then make the side skirts and rear vents just before the rear arches.. is ALL go at the moment!!!

That chair got sooo many people that weekend.. was a constant source of entertainment that would be the weekend that Luke looked like he was poured into the astra The Mini... well it is in quite good condition bodywise.. only need to replace footwells and reskin the doors.. but to reskin the doors I need to get the 63amp 3 phase spot welder wired in.. £20 for a new door skin.. instead of £160 for a door.. I really cant wait to get cracking on it.. but is pointless until Amy applies for a provisional.. am also going to have to get a sump gaurd for it as it is lowered and has bugger all room between the ground and the sump.. the bodykit I am going to alter.. make the rear arches wider but then reduce down as it get to the doors... kinda like the 205 dimma kits.. "kinda" .. I took the fibreglass bonnet off the original mini bonnet frame.. it was done very poorly.. have made plates and welded them on so it is all one piece now.. next for that is to alter the bonnet.. it already has a buldge.. but want it to be as customised as possible.. to make it more special for Amy being her 1st car.. On to the Eagle.. I have cut off the exhausts.. and thought loooong and hard.. s/s or mild steel.. and shock horror I am going for mild steel.. why you ask.. as a lot of exhaust systems are s/s but coz of that they are considerably heavier than mild steel.. thus the power gain is reduced due to power to weight.. I am going to exhaust paint the mild steel and heat wrap it to help the gases escape as quickly as possible.. granted I will have to replace the mild steel in prob 3 years.. maybe then I will feel like a bit of bling and go for s/s. I went and saw a business advisor yesterday and got a very possitive response to my business idea.. figured with all the money I have thrown into my unit.. and past experiences.. and most of all the enjoyment I get from custom bodywork in both metal and fibreglass.. that it is time to make a go of it and offer a service with emphasis on quality, honour, intergrity and most of all respect for customers.. treat them as I would like to be treated.. so fingers crossed I can make a go of it

Little bit of an update... the bonnet now has what I called so fangs coming down from each side of the main vent.. this will be replicated on the roof scoop.. the so called fangs will come down over the top of the windscreen from each end of the roof scoop.. and then the theme will also continue to the vents before the back wheels. Also had another mad mod I am toying with for the bonnet.. had a thought of using the motor from the tr7 headlights I removed and mounting it onto the plate where the clutch cable and hydrolics are .. I will need to alter it to make it work correctly but if I manage it I will be able to open the bonnet at a flick of a switch... and no need for a bonnet stay.. On the subject of opening methods.. I have been given a pair of boot hinges with a weird way of opening.. off a Lancia Dedra (new shape) am thinking of making a metal frame to fix under the boot so the hinges can mount too and decrease chances of twist and stress factors on the boot lid. Seeing business advisor again tomoz.. got a 12 page business plan written.. fingers crossed I soon will be my own boss

Fine then.. no comments... The bonnet was worked on by a m8 the other day.. he is learning the skills.. but kept altering the shape of the so called fangs.. we all have to learn.. and he learnt the hard way.. they should be finished being shaped correctly today.. and the roof scoop is only in the early stages of being made.. but should massively help the flow through of air inside the Eagle as well as increasing the downforce as well.. the rear window I am going to see if some hinges off a Nissian Silvia ZX will do the job.. so the window will open outwards.. the Eagle is listed as being my new companies Demo/advertising vehicle.. so it will be covered with TEAM DMUK CUSTOMS... speaking of the business.. is due to open next month.. just getting all insurances sorted at the moment.. man oh man I didnt realise how much cover woulf be required.. I have also made a deal with Chirs who has the Yellow Eagle at my unit.. he has 14's wellers all round.. I am on 15's all round.. so am going to swap him my two front wheels so I can have 14's on the front and Kellys 15's on the back..

The bonnet "Fangs" I scupltured in fibreglass 1st.. then added some very thin layers of Rage Gold filler.. which as previously mention my m8 kept sanding through.. he did in the end grasp the way of shaping.. Am trying to get my head around the rear light fixings... the two mounts on the Supra Mk4 rear lights are in very odd places and angles.. There will be a black sun strip on the windscreen and the roof scoop will come down over the sun strip.. and will be painted matt red colour I have had made up for me ... Been looking for a louver for the boot area.. but not had any luck at all.. I dont know ... these people who have social lives.. hahhahaha ..

Nice one.. much appreciated Jason!! I am in mega cheesey design mood at the moment.. have a m8 who is a dj and he is sourcing me a decent smoke machine (some call them foggers) ... now why would I want one you are thinking.. well it will be mounted in the boot.. run off a power convertor.. and will have the smoke ducted into each rear arch.. just for laughs and looks of so yep the idea is to look like a burnout... I did say I was in a cheesy design frame of mind.. and naturally there will be some strobes mounted under the car.. already have the largest led bulbs I have found.. 10mm wide red leds which are water proof and shock resistant. and I have 12 of them... hehehe I disgust myself some times..

Any luck on hte louver front Jason? I have been searching and not had an luck.. but have found a supplier of aluminised Mild steel custom exhaust parts.. www.jetex.co.uk/website/custom_parts.php Nothing has been done in past couple of weeks on the Eagle due to setting up the new business... just waiting on a quote for the insurance packed I require.. about 8 policies grouped together.. but not I have sorted a lot of it out is time to crack on with the Eagle.. I know childish and cheesy.. but I have bought an Antari Smoke Machine to be mounted into the boot.. and I will make fibreglass ducts to channel the smoke into the rear arches.. rear arches are also to have red led bulbs fitted to give a constant glow.. and also a couple of orange strobe lights as well... to kinda give the feeling of flames in amoungst the smoke...
